Heart Month in the community
Heart disease can affect anyone at any stage of life. That’s why it takes a community to make a difference. This February, you can help us continue the fight against heart disease through a generous donation or by supporting heart month initiatives across Edmonton.
Together we can make sure the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute remains the groundbreaking, innovative centre it is today.
Community initiatives
Visit any of the following Boston Pizza locations on February 14th and order a heart-shaped pizza, and they will donate $1 per small and medium pizza sold that day.
Locations include:

Beverly
Northgate
Kingsway
Grenier Place
Summit Centre
Morinville
Wetaskiwin
Melfort, Saskatchewan
California Pizza Kitchen will be donating $2 per pizza sold between February 13 – 15 at the Windermere location.
Freson Bros. will be taking $1 top up donations at the till all February long. Donations collected during this time will be donated to the Heart Month campaign.
Limited-edition Valentine’s Menu Items – In gratitude of our mentor Chef Brad Smoliak, whose guidance, generosity, and belief in our team helped shape DON’YA into what it is today.
Every Valentine’s meal sold will include a 1$ donation in support of the Mazankowski Heart Institute.
