Join us all February long and support cardiac care at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and beyond

Heart Month brings the University Hospital Foundation together with its dedicated supporters to raise funds for cardiac care. All February long, communities come together to participate in our events, as well as creating their own!

Heart Month radio remotes on up! 99.3

During the month of February, you can catch the University Hospital Foundation on up! 99.3 with Duncan Paterson and Cory Kimm for four special on-location live radio segments (radio remotes). Each broadcast will have matching donation hours along with short interviews with care teams, patients and event sponsors. Tune in on February 3, 12, 19 and 27.

2026 Maz Spin-A-Thon

After a 5-year hiatus, the Maz Spin-A-Thon is back with 12 bikes for 12 hours and one great cause. Regular physical activity is one of the most effective lifestyle interventions for reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. Let’s get moving!

With a gift during Heart Month, you earn your chance to wear your heart on your sleeve – or place it on the wall. When you make your donation, provide your name, or the name of a loved one who received care at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, we’ll add it to a heart to be proudly displayed on our heart wall.

Every dollar we receive during Heart Month makes a difference in the lives of the thousands of people who receive care at the Maz each year.
